Yahuza Bawage is a senior reporter at Social Voices, based in northeastern Nigeria. He specialises in in-depth, solutions-focused coverage of gender issues, environment, healthcare, education, and peacebuilding. His reporting aims to spark meaningful conversations, inform and shape equitable policies, and derive positive change across grassroot communities. He is a 2024 UDEME Social Accountability fellow, a 2024 Change Reporting fellow on Gender-Responsive Education Sector Planning, and a 2023 African Change Narrative Storytelling fellow, among several others.
